Submarine cable problems affect Vietnam's international internet connection

On 22/10/2021, the Asia America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable faced a problem, affecting international internet connections. The repair of AAG cable connecting to Singapore is expected to be completed from 17/12/2021 to 23/12/2021. The AAG connecting to Hongkong is expected to be fixed from 23/12/2021 to 03/01/2022.
On 16/12/2021, the Asia Pacific Gateway (APG) international submarine cable connecting to Hong Kong experienced a problem, greatly affecting Vietnam's international internet connections, causing a loss of 1 TB of internet connection capacity. The cause of the problem is being identified and plans to resolve it will be announced later.
The unexpected incidents have affected international bandwidths connected to Vietnam, especially the connection to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, … Therefore, your access to VinaHost's international services will be more slowly than usual.
