i just wanted to share a little with everyone.

this method of work habits is what made me a lot of money that changed my life.

it took me from being broke, to buying new cars, trucks, boats houses ..ect

at the time i was a complete newb, with nothing but a few dollars and a couple tool to my name.

i spent countless hrs looking through cpa network offers and classified
sites, looking to find what ppl wanted and what i had to offer them.
once i had an idea of a good offer and a good targeted group for that
offer, i went to work. writing emails, making tons of links and email
titles. then id spend 12 to 20 hrs a day tweking, testing and
researching till i had something that worked. once i found an offer, an
email, and a targeted group that converted, even if it was only a
conversion or 2. id focus on it as if it were already making me a
million dollars a day.

this dedication to offers and methods proved to be my success.

if i had of abandoned every slow growing, converting offer/method i had
come across. i'd probably still be looking for my money makers now! i'm
going to share one of the emails and methods that i first came across,
that ended up proving to be my biggest money maker.

i just want to let everyone know this is an old method and it is not the point of my share.

im sure it probably still workable with some test and tweaks, but i
have not bothered with it in some time so i do not know. anyways, when i
first came across this idea and tested it, it only made me about 15 to
30 dollars a day. but after spending time in testing it and making sure
it was inboxing it ended up making me thousands and thousands of dollars
a month.

just to show you a little bit of the amount of prep work i did on a
regular basis, here is one of the list of email title i'd use and write
weekly. by using such large list and writing fresh ones on a regular
basis. i was able to keep my method live and converting for at least 1
1/2 years to 2 years before i moved on.

at the time i was scraping my emails from cl.

what i would do to keep my list long and fresh is write 10 to 25 new
titles a day and add them to my list. (sometimes as many as 50,
depending how many emails i was going to send.)

and to best use my time, while i was writing my new titles, making new
links, and tokening and rewriting my email a bit. i'd send myself 10 to
25 emails for each different email client i thought were most important.

what id do is make myself a few email accounts for each of the major email clients like so.
  1. email1@aol.com

  2. email2@yahoo.com

  3. email3@hotmail.com

  4. email4@gmail.com

  5. ...ect
复制代码
then id add the list to my mailer and let it rip. once i had 10
to 25 per account in the list i'd go through and read some of the
emails, to be sure all my tokens are sounding ok. also i'd check to see
if i had any emails in any of the spam boxes. if i did i'd try and
figure out why.

this extra time i spent sending myself emails and writing new titles,
links and tokens kept my emails inboxing like crazy when a lot of other
ppl were having a really hard time staying out of the spam box.

on to the email! at the i was using car insurance offers. if i remember
correctly it they were paying like 10.50$ to 12.00$ per conversion.
conversions were made by the customer supplying a bit of info. not a bad
payout for what ppl had to do.

after about a month or so of tweaking, testing and researching i was
making 10 to 30 conversions a day, off of just a few thousand emails and
very little work. id spend maybe 2 to 4 hrs a day writing titles,
making new links and tweaking and testing my email. you can have the
same results or better, all it takes is the action of doing!

this is just one of many drafts and tweaks of this email.
some with 10 times the tokens, some with 3 times less. the only thing
that mattered was it was always changing and evolving. the more it did
the longer it made me money. some twist and tweaks made me more money
some made me less, but in the end it was always working!

now once i had my methods and working habits set, i started focusing on scaling up up up!

i had been told and read in so many places that if a method can make you
a dollar it can make you a million. but in my trials i found this was
not always true. with the amount of knowledge and experience i had. i
found there were many things i did not know, so it made it near
impossible for me to scale my method any further.

but rather than giving up, i just took the knowledge and experience i
did have and i used it as best i could. if i couldn't scale up, then id
find a new targeted group, a new offer and a new method. i really didn't
have to look far. i found another offer in the same niche that would
offer me a second chance at converting the list i was already harvesting
daily.

im sure many of you have probably seen the extended auto warranty
offers. there is a large verity of them, offering a range of payouts
from 3$ to 10$. so now that i had my niche, my offer and my targeted
group of ppl. i set forth following the simple method i had already
perfected with my prior email camp.

i wrote up an email, made a bunch of links, wrote up a bunch of new
titles, then sent myself a bunch of test and tweaked my camp till i
thought it was good enough to try. so after sending my working email
out, i put in a new list of email accounts and sent my new email out. to
my surprise i made about 300$ the first day.

复制代码
so even though i couldn't scale my first camp in
the traditional scene, i was able to take the knowledge and experience i
had learned/earned and made a new camp. which in the end earned me
just as much, if not more money!

my point being, take action! practice what you learn! don't be afraid to
work! always do your research! test, test, test! lather rinse, repeat!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

This is basically the same methods I used to run a lot... The above emails will not work in most places now days though...The above emails are good starting points though (like Insanity said)... The problem now days is most of the "warranty" offers now call all the people that sign up, and when just a couple of them mention that they were emailed from an ad at CL then say bye bye to your $$$$..

Insanity hit the nail on the head with his advice..When you find something that even may only convert 1 out of 2000 emails u send out, take that and start tweaking and testing over and over. It will convert 1 time, it will convert 1 million times.....

Insanity, I always look for your threads, because you offer very valuable advice, and I along with many others I'm sure, appreciate your words of advice.............

yeah as i mentioned these are old emails and methods, from when i first got into the game, but that really wasn't the point of the thread.

as sciborg picked up on, this is a thread to motivate and show everyone how with hard work and dedication, anyone can make it big! even with very simple methods you can make great money. all you have to do is try!

i see ppl everyday here reading and downloading, but they still ask "how can i make money online?"
and i cant express to them enough, that the only way to earn, is to practice what you learn here at mmd!

take a method that you like and give it a try. if it doesn't work or isn't hugely successful, then try and find the good in the method and add your own flare to it! you dont have to be a computer genus or a extremely creative person to make even the oldest or simplest method work. you just have to be a hard work and be willing to try anything and everything that comes to your mind.

trust me when i say, you may just surprise yourself and everyone else!
thanks for the feedback sciborg, im glad i can help motivate you and offer some good advice!

good luck everyone!

Great post,

I have been really kicking butt and putting everything I am learning and still learning to practice. It is these types of posts that really keep me motivated and keep trying. I want to thank you insnaity for this post, again it is a new area I have never explored. I know at some point I will be succesful it is just a matter of keep pushing myself. I treat this as a real business now. I get off from work get home and I have been putting in 7-8 hours a night on various techniques. Anyway THANKS for this it helped a lot!

This is just a side note to this thread that all of us who are struggling and trying to make it. I sit and think about many of the MODS and members on here who I admire and realize they all were newbs at one time too. However they kept pushing at it and never stopped or looked back. So just remember that.

you are very correct!
we all were just newb's once. none of us fell out the whom ready to make internet millions!
it took a lot of hard work and dedication to get where we are today.
when i started IM'ing i couldn't afford a pc and once i could buy a cheap used one, i didn't even know how to reformat it. lol and that's no joke.

but within that year, after many trials and tribulations i was able to earn 30k or so.
all off a 200$ used pawn shop pc and stolen internet from a neighbor.

and now after dealing with about a pc virus known to man, i am the king of reformatting! lol
i probably had to reformat 3 times in the first month or 2. but i learned and gained experience which lead me to the position i hold today!

Here, I respond 2 months later, but I didn't have access to this section until a couple of days ago.

What I'm getting from this is treat IMing like a 60+ hour a week job, or whatever amount of time you can afford to give it based on current work or school situation, at least until you have your business well off the ground. Only, you have to set expectations for yourself to meet each day instead of having a boss's expectations to meet.

The last offline job I had was as a store manager working up to 87 hours per week. That was tough. And, I was always behind on meeting company deadlines. Now, I was doing better than any of the other store managers in the same district, but the stress of trying to get EVERYTHING done was terrible.

What I've been trying to apply to working for myself is setting up daily work routines and task specific deadlines. Not having someone to be directly accountable to does make it harder to push myself. I've never had to be this independently self-disciplined.

The truth is, I don't have to work hard. I don't have to succeed. I don't have to sacrifice now for rewards later. But, if I really want to raise my standard of living, get to the quality of life I desire, I will find a way to get the job done.

You set up for yourself a pattern of tasks to be done. When you sat down to work, you knew what the next thing to do was. I need to simplify and clarify for myself what needs to get done. I'm getting closer. Still in the setting up process.

Thanks so much for sharing what it took for you to get rolling.
