Plural domains
Im wondering how much of an impact does a plural in the domain have on position. For example say i am SEO'in for the keyword shoes would a domain allshoes.co.uk rank much better than allshoe.co.uk ?
I need to make this decision pretty quick :p
thanks
Mason I think shoes is better, beacuse people usually use "shoes" not "shoe", User Experience is very important for Google.
for example
search "allshoe" in google, you will find the words "allshoes" is bold in "www.allshoes.nl" and "www.allshoes.net"
My english is poor, i hope you can understand me :) Say your domain was allshoe.com and your competitors domain name was allshoes.com. If you both performed the exact same SEO for the keyword "shoes" your competitor would probably rank number 1 while you rank number 2.
However, if you perform great SEO for that search term there is no reason why you can't be ranking above a website that has allshoes.com as the domain name. The BASE keyword ("shoe") is contained in allshoe.com, which is what matters the most.
