对niche站域名选择的看法

随着谷歌算法的不断更新，域名里包含keywords的先天优势已经不再明显。我个人倾向于选择 一个 简单的Brand name做为域名，主要有两大原因：

1. 对于后期推广比较有利，不管是面向用户还是谷歌。比如bestapplereviews.com  拿到niche的社区之类的地方去去推广显然没有LiitleHouse.com 这样的brand域名更容易让别人产生印象。而谷歌也不是傻子，对于这样的域名谷歌十有八九会知道这家伙是个seoer

2. 对于网站的长远发站，brand 域名有绝对的优势。比如，我做某类niche产品起家，等网站稳定盈利后，就可以考虑把钱投入到 同类的其他niche产品或资讯中，往一个小型的综合站方向发展。

当然，我觉得这种思路只适合于普通人。

怎么会无所谓？？比如你刚开始做了一款运动鞋，域名是：bestrunningshoesreviews.com

然后，你做成功了，一个月收入一千刀。然后你想再做周边的运动产品（非鞋子的配件），如运动手表，访客一到你的站，看域名是鞋子，你觉得专业吗？

忘了一点：外链锚文本。  谷歌对品牌情有独钟，如果你的推广能让谷歌认为你是个品牌，那么是在SEO方面是有优势的。我个人认为，外链锚文本里要尽量少的 精确匹配，甚至连包含核心关键词的锚文本也要尽量少。

如果用keywords域名，那么你的品牌名里多少会含有keywords, 比如  "Best Running Shoes World"  那么锚文本包含大量品牌名的同时也会包含 核心关键词，对SEO不利，显得不自然。但若brand 是 TGL ，就会好很多。

Branding is definitely very important, especially for social marketing. One big problem of EMDs is that they are generally too long to remember. I suggest using domain names which are comprised of no more than three words and brandable. For instance, imagine we target "best electric shaver" or "electric shaver reviews" as our niche, we can use brandable domains such as

apennyshaved (killer brandable domain for its humor)
shaverlist
pickmyshaver
pickyourshaver

All these websites are proven to be very successful, lucrative and easy to remember.

Canvasli and Zeelin (owned by Moonlight) are also excellent examples of brandable domains, because they don't have too many characters (ie memorable) and unique. Visitors can just type them in the address bar to browse your website, thus reducing the dependency on Big G.

TheWireCutter.com is not just about "wire cutter", it also has reviews on many other products.

As I mentioned in my last post, brandable and unique domains are the best choices!

最近查一个竞争对手,标准的NICHE站格式,首页一大篇文章,十来个内页REVIEWS
文章中规中矩,外链就发了几个评论,小于5个PBN.
最重要域名 跟NICHE词八杆子打不着,甚至完全看不出有什么产品属性.
但就这个站,几万搜索的两个大词都排首页,数个长尾第一,不懂
