Dear Mr. Li,
It has been some time since we mailed out your affiliate payment for the month of September and more recently, we mailed out your payment for October. Neither of these two cheques has cleared our bank. Over the past few months it has become increasingly difficult to deposit these cheques, issued from a Canadian Chartered Bank, and have them cleared on a timely basis. Also, as you are aware, we have been having difficulty with PayPal because they will not recognize our Canadian bank.
Therefore, we have put a stop-payment on both of these cheques. Please do not deposit the second one into your account, if you have not yet done so.
We will be sending out replacement cheques immediately from a recognized American Bank, and in the future all payments issued to you will either be drawn on a U.S. bank, or, we hope, with PayPal.
Please send us proof of any charges from your bank regarding any returned cheques and we will gladly reimburse you on our next payment.
