Incentive Offers - They ain’t dead yet - Don’t believe the hype

There has been much hype about in the past week about ‘The Death of Incentivizable Offers’. Let me ASSURE you that M****** Media has no intention of phasing out our great Incent Offers or discontinuing service to our many fantastic Incent Publishers. If anything, we are RAMPING UP our number of Incentivizable Offers to meet the increasing demand for such offers.
The main reason some of the larger networks are removing these ‘Get Paid To’ (GPT) and Incent Affiliates and Offers from their networks is fraud. Fraud and low quality leads is a HUGE problem in these get programs. Users want those Free iPods and Free Laptops that are being offered and are willing to go to any means to get one. Filling in email submits with fake addresses, filling out mortgage or student loan leads with gibberish, even using stolen credit cards to sign up for Blockbuster, Netflix, Vonage and other high payout offers. This is a HUGE problem. Most of the large networks don’t have the time or focus to work with smaller publishers who may only generate a few thousand dollars a month in revenue, publishers who are often less than diligent when detecting fraud on in their own systems. The result of this is that they are throwing out the baby with the bath water.
M****** Media Loves Incent Publishers! We have hundreds of offers that are incentivizable and are working diligently to add new ones every day. We also work hard with our incent publishers to keep pushing them fresh content and tools which will help us all detect and prevent fraud. We want to work with publishers who have a long term view of this industry and are willing to work with us to keep the quality of the leads they generate high and to keep or advertisers happy. At the end of the day, the advertisers pay ALL of our bills. If they aren’t happy NOBODY is happy.
So… If you run GPT Offers or an otherwise incentivized site AND:
A) Are diligent about detecting bogus users and removing them from your databases.
B) Play fair and DO NOT run incent traffic to non incent offers.
C) Can be contacted and actually pay out the rewards that you offer your users.
D) Are PROACTIVE about fraud and ACT on any information regarding fraud we give you.
Then HOP ON THE BUS! Let your AM know that you run incent offers and we will keep you in the loop of new offers and tools available for GPT Publishers. |
