Surveys + Email/Zip Submit Offers Combination
What you are about to read is a monetization strategy that currently works for me. I've mentioned this tactic on another post regarding to monetizing large generic traffic.

What You Need
- Fake Survey (3 Questions, Simplicity is Key)
- Email Submit / Zip Submit Offers (freebies and giftcards)
- GEO-target the offers

Current Default Landing Page
- http://www.freebiesurveys.com

Process
- Visitor comes to the website and are encouraged to do the survey. At the end they are given the opportunity to receive one of 3 exclusive gifts.

Since this method has worked for me personally I have made it an offer in a private network that I run, and affiliates can customize the landing pages more themselves. For example: (Sorry about the affiliate links but I've made the customization activated only when "aid" is passed. So the links below are solely for demonstration purposes)

Default Landing Page:

Another Style:

Another Style:

With style tid=3, affiliates can customize the color of the background further by doing something like this:
http://www.freebiesurveys.com?aid=1&...id=3&sv=000000 to set the background color to #000000 (black)

This way they can customize it according to their traffic source.

The default landing page without optimization brings in 75% ROI on adf.ly US traffic that I have tested (average revenue $3.80 for every $5 spent). Now if you are experienced with affiliate marketing you know that it looks promising and I have actually optimized my traffic further to make it profitable.

Further things you can do:
- Add modal exit splash (be creative on what to display)
- Instead of displaying links to offers, bring them into a co-reg path (requires more programming and connections with networks). Survey / Reward / Co-reg Combination does a lot better than Survey / Reward
- Add links to dating surveys to the participant images (which I am planning to do)

In addition, I've made the affiliate links into things like http://www.freebiesurveys.com?aid=1&sid= for SEO purposes as well. So if affiliates place links on their websites, they would count as backlinks.

This type of method works particularly well on typo, generic, and social traffic. Works well as direct, interstitial, exit pop, or pop under.
